Am I just being nostalgic or does this song kick ass? The horns, especially, sound great. And something about Chuck’s voice immediately makes me hopeful and sad and excited and angry for the current state of hip-hop, music, and the world in general. Chuck D for President!

No, I don’t think you’re being nostalgic. That’s a great song! The best, perhaps, since the aforementioned “By the Time I get to Arizona.” I’m tempted to just buy the album. Wonder if it’s any good outside of that song? I would love for PE to be back on form.

No, that’s a legitimately def track. Except I can’t listen to Flav nowadays and not wince…he’s being ‘roasted’ on Comedy Central as I type this. 911′s a joke? Hmmm.
