According to Billboard, Wilco will be hitting the studio next month to begin recording a new album for a spring release on Nonesuch (Warner Music Group).
Another band I used to love whose name begins with the letter “W,” Weezer, heads back to the studio in November to record what will be the last album under its current contract with DGC (Universal Music Group).
Both Wilco and Weezer got started right around 1994. So by the time these albums come out, they’ll have been going at it for 15 years. That’s a long-ass time.
