  1. This album is pretty damn good, probably the best stuff released by Earle in years, with no small amount of credit due to Townes for writing the actual songs.

  2. I like my Steve Earle rockin’ and two steppin’ like ‘El Corazon. This might be a burty schong(pretty song) but the acoustic bummer shit has grown tiresome for me.

  3. I’d love to hear this, but I’m broke as hell, so no new rekkids ’till next month. I may have to bust out my Steve Earle/Townes/Guy Clark live cd instead.

  4. Owl–or may I call you Woodsy? I like the skow acoustic stuff from Flying Burritos, Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo, etc. it’s just that everything I’ve heard from Steve Earle since El Corazon has been the slow stuff–except for Galway Girl.Admittedly I didn’t look that hard so I may have missed a few. .
