Singles group. Nobody wants the album. Well, not nobody. 119,000 people bought the Black Eyed Peas’ new album. But at Christmastime, that’s not even enough to crack the Top 5 on the Billboard 200. Better than Ke$ha though, whose Cannibal dropped to #41 in her second week with sales of 26,000. Isn’t she supposed to be huge?
1. Susan Boyle – “The Gift” – 272,000 (up 3%; four-week cume: 1,134,000)
2. Taylor Swift – “Speak Now” – 182,000 (down 24%)
3. Jackie Evancho – “O Holy Night” – 145,000 (up 2%)
4. “Glee” Christmas – 129,000 (up 19%)
5. “Glee, the Music Volume 4” – 128,000 (debut)
6. Black Eyed Peas – “The Beginning” – 119,000 (debut)
7. Kanye West – “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” – 108,000 (down 78%)
8. Nicki Minaj – “Pink Friday” – 103,000 (down 73%)
9. Josh Groban – “Illuminations” – 78,000 (down 21%)
10. Rihanna – “Loud” – 77,000 (down 45%)
• Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Dec. 5) totaled 9.22 million units
