I had Sea Change at 9 for the year and Yoshimi at 4. I agree that Interpol being #1 was a little outrageous, I didn't even have them in my top 20, let alone #1.

Who else thought Pitchfork's Top 50 had some seriously obvious choices missing? Queens of the Stone Age, Super Furry Animals, and Elvis Costello were all ignored. How the hell did that happen? What about Island in the Sun? That was hands-down their best post-Pinkerton song yet. Maladroit had some high points (December, Slave, Keep Fishin) and I still think Green Album has been seriously underrated, but that's just one mans opinion.
