With full album streams left available for weeks isn't it a possibility people are just stealing these albums? With the cost of gas and food I was really tempted to steal the new Hold Steady. I have access to a two monitor system and Adobe Audition. That's all you need. I paid for it though. Not sa...

Manny is probably a more divisive figure in baseball than Bonds or Clemens. Anyone with a brain sees those two for the schmucks that they are. Manny, on the other hand, appeals to "hardcore lovers" of the game with his old-school having fun out there style (ie - high fiving a fan in the fi...

Re: GloNo Sports Thread

I think this makes an even stronger case that A-Rod may not catch Bonds. During the last few years Bonds was in his 40's..not late 30's. When He was in his late 30's and allegedly on steroids he hit 73, 45, 46, 45.... I'd love to see A-Rod pass Bonds. But I don't think it's a foregone conclusion th...

Re: GloNo Sports Thread

The use of steroids is what allowed some sluggers to remain healthy enough in their late 30's to hit 40 or 50 home runs. Alex battled injuries this year and he's only 33. Keep in mind that for the last few years Bonds WASN'T healthy. He pretty much missed the entire 2005 season, and then he missed ...

I've tried telling people about that no-hitter FOREVER, and no one believes that it possibly could have happened.

I'm going to use you as a confirmation reference, Jake. Or, you know, I'll just tell them to go to Google.

My mp3 player gets used when I'm in retail situations (ie: grocery store, etc...) and I play it thru the home system, usually thru our outdoor speakers when I'm swimming or doing yard/pool maintenance. I listen to vinyl, cds ,digital files, and LastFM when I'm in my room/on the computer. I listen t...

Five year BUMP. Crazy how much can change in five years. Where are you all now? 1. If you have an iPod, how often if ever do you listen to whole albums in order on it? (I listen to albums in order once or twice and then let them fall into the shuffle mix.) 2. What percentage of your music listening...

After I fell hard for Seperation Sunday I noticed The Hold Steady wasn't getting much love around here. I went to Katlick school so I figured the high number of jews in this community couldn't relate to the christianity references like I could. I moved on and kept my obsession with Craig Finn to my...
