Oh man, I just got my Leppotone mp3 hootenanny from Joshua (originally from, I think, Derek?). Hoot! Gas! Riot!
Tons o' Fortune & Maltese, Sinatras, Vantrells, more! Fun x 5!

Plus, a sweet GLONO sticker! Everything's comin' up Shecky!

I was wondering what the topic name had to do with the subject matter before realising it's just another one of Shecky's atterntion-grabbing stunts.

As for the disc - "hootenanny" barely does it justice, nor does my appellation: "bonanza." It's a rip-roaring good time and it makes my life brighter and my teeth whiter.

Leppotone is where it's at, kids - accept no substitutes!

Sabu, it's all of the Leppotone album tracks, singles and various other recordings. I does not, unfortunately, include the Sinatras' Imaginary Singles Collection as I have a VERY rough recording of that album. Oh shit, I just realized it also doesn't include the Christmas Album. Schecky and Josh will be all over my ass for that now too...

'attention-grabbing stunts'? Why, I never!

Ok, I admit it. I was going to say, 'Praise God!', as in Praise God for my Leppotone disk! Then I realized I was thanking the wrong deity for that...

And Phil-where's my damn Christmas Album?!

Does it have The Pirate Show and 45 Other Minutes? Twister? The Dazzleheads?

The mix does not have the Pirate Show and 45 other Minutes, nor does it have any Dazzleheads. It does have all the Twister you can handle.

I am holding some of that material, including the famed Christmas Album, as leverage.

Mark Peeters made me a CD with all the Dazzleheads stuff on it. Fine Fun at Art's House was the name of that tape that they recorded at the Fine Arts building at K College. Great songs. "Thankyou Box," "Slop It on the Bun," "Define Yourself," "Back Again," "Icarus." God damn! What a great band. I know I'll sound like a hippie for saying this, but I'll always remember dancing in the mud on K's Quad when I hear the Dazzleheads... Drunk and nineteen, goodness gracious.

This saturday (the one right after Thanksgiving) you can go down and sing with members of the Dazzleheads, Sinatras, Fortune & Maltese, etc, etc at Harvey's in Kalamazoo. They're hositng a Human Karaoke night where a live band will play the songs you request and let you sing the lead! Anyone with balls enough should go down and sing "Under the Dog" with the guys who made it one of the greatest rock songs pressed on blue vinyl.
