Banned Superbowl Ad Online

Post by killyridols »

I saw a story on this Bud ad on my local news station and could not believe it was banned. its really hilarious and I think totally should air. Sadly FOX pulled this Bud ad from the Superbowl. I found it online though on http://www.budweiser.com/1 it really funny and worth checking out cause you wont see it next week on TV

That is pretty funny. I was expecting something a lot more controversial, I guess Fox just wants to bury that happening as quickly as possible.

Sounds like a viral marketing scheme of Budweiser's. Clever.

(Evidence: someone work for Budweiser?)

i thought fox was pretty liberal, but with last year's halftime "fiasco", i guess the fcc isn't taking any chances.

Spammers make me ill, almost as ill as Bud makes me. That's the crappiest beer ever.

Um...I didn't think that ad was funny. Indeed, it seems kind of stupid. But I'm not Bud's demographic.

I give that ad a medium, "Meh". Clever, but not really the caliber I expect from super bowl ads.

Now, using that logic and the fact I drink beer one could conclude that Bud would want to advertise to me. They choose not to so I don't buy their product. Guinness sells to me as do many other brands large and small. But for some reason Bud feels that my money isn't good enough. Call me wrong headed, but ya know sexist marketing campaigns and adverts just don't sell me on wobby pop. I vote with my wallet. And I'm sure they could care less.

Besides, if I wanted water, I'da asked for water.
