Hey grounded, what do you think of the YYY's? I just got it too and I'm digging it so far, which surprises me; I didn't like Fever to Tell for a really long time.

I also got Islands - Return to the Sea and Destroyer's Rubies. Both are currently in extreeem heavy rotation (ie. only those two and the YYY's disc are getting play.) Love love love!

Recently: Black Flag - The First Four Years
Dead Kennedys - Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
Calexico & Iron and Wine - In the Reins
Iron & Wine - Woman King
My Morning Jacket - Heartbreaking Man ep
Dirty Pretty Things - Waterloo to Anywhere
Southcott - Flee the Scene
Elefant - The Black Magic Show
Danko Jones - Sleep Is the Enemy
Calexico - Garden Ruin
The Decemberists - Her Majesty the Decemberists
Maximo Park - Missing Songs
John Coltrane - Lush Life
Uncle Tupelo - Anthology
Stars - Set Yourself on Fire
The Go! Team - Thunder, Lightning, Strike

It's a lot to digest. I'll probably never listen to all of it, but Lucero kicks ass!

A big second to that, I picked up A Little Further West a few weeks ago, and it's pretty sweet.

Also got Bjork's Homoegenic after I got "All Is Full Of Love" stuck in my head for about a week.

Wow...I haven't posted here in a while. Decided to jump on the new music thread because there are a few things I've really liked lately.

I'll second the following:

Band of Horses - Everything All The Time
Neko Case - Fox Confessor
Tapes 'n Tapes - The Loon

and I've been really into:

Aloha - Some Echoes
Rocky Votolato - Makers
Ghostface Killah - Fishscales

and one that came out last year but I just recently got:

Final Fantasy - Has a good home - this is a pretty good album, and I can't wait to hear the new one that comes out next month

just picked up:

Drive By Truckers - A Blessing and a Curse
This might be their best one yet.

Ben Harper - Both Sides of the Gun

Matt Costa - Songs We Sing

Neil Young - Prarie Wind (i'm on a total Neil Young kick lately, I'm gonna have to go back and buy some of the older stuff I skipped out on over the years.)

hey, i just got that too! i've had to severely cut back on my music purchasing, but that one was on yourmusic and i just CAN'T give up my yourmusic subscription. i've had no depression for years and liked it, but not enough to pick up their whole discography, so the anthology was a nice comprimise.
