I'm posting it here because I feel like it.

GLONO's own Riviera will be opening for Jeff Tweedy on March 4 at the Vic Theater in Chicago. Info on ticket sales is not yet available but you can be sure we'll post it here as soon as we know.

In other Riviera/Wilco Stalking News: Riviera will also open for Wilco bassist John Stirratt and his siter Laurie in Lansing, Michigan on April 1.

Don't forget, the CD release for At the End of The American Century... (Glorious Noise Records) is Saturday, April 2 at Schubas in Chicago.

EDIT: This, according to Metromix, "JEFF TWEEDY, Friday, March 4 ($30, all ages) at Vic Theatre. On sale 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at the box office."

Niiiiiiiice! Is there a story of how this happened? This goes a long way towards confirming suspicions that Mick's dating someone in Wilco...

Awesome gig, Derek!!! First opening for Jay Farrar, now Tweedy... you're trying to eventually open for all Uncle Tupelo splinter acts, right? Very good news for you all.

Stirratt did some time in Tupelo too. Mike H. and Max Johnston better watch out!

Awesome guys... no way I'm shelling out $30 for a concert, but hopefully this gets your music to a wider audience.

Does this mean we have to start treating Derek with respect now?
