Who is the benefit for? and don't say Riviera
Perhaps the good cause might further tempt the out-of-towners. Gratters on the gig though!

Come benefit the Milwaukee Hunger Task Force this Saturday at Mad Planet this Saturday!!! I'm posting here because he did.

No shit - throw your Diet Coke in his face and tell him he's a sellout! And be sure Josh has his camera at the ready.

Then Jake can add to his millions with "I Beat Up Derek Riviera" shirts. Great...

The new album is here and the release date is set for April 5. We'll headline a CD release party on Saturday, April 2 at Schubas with Paper Airplane Pilots and Quasar Wut Wut also on the bill.

Of course, if you don't know much about Riviera, you can download some songs from our website and buy our last two EPs there or through iTunes.

You know about our opening slot on March 4, but we're also opening for John and Laurie Stirratt in Lansing, Michigan on April 1 and showcasing at the Motor City Music Conference in April (exact date and venue to be determined).

We're very excited about the new album. Can't wait for the release date but at least it's here and we know it is how we envisioned it.

Again, I advise to smash a guitar. It's a benefit, for Christsakes! Best of luck. And see if Jeff wants to sell me the rest of his pills, since he's not using them anymore.
I can say that. I saw Uncle Tupelo before their first album came out, so I can make fun of his Belleville-livin-ass. And I think Tony Margherita owes me fifty bucks, the prick.
P.S.-The album art looks cool and the photos on your website are most awesome.

I just listened to the Riviera songs while packing up for our move. Up til now I think I had only heard that WXRT Christmas thing. It seems like a great day outside for these kind of songs. Wonderful instrumental textures, tasteful, I daresay elegant at times. The "moves" in each song show you really know what you're doing. Compelling. What can I say--I'm really looking forward to it! Nice artwork, too.

Let me tell you, GloNoids, you are going to want to pick this one up, and I'm not just saying that because I know the band. It's awesome!
