Wow!

My 6th grade teacher was a 60 year old guy with dentures and a relish for hitting us over the knuckles with a yard stick.

All I have to say is:

My super-hot 11th grade English Teacher- listened to Morphine and Radiohead- knew all about Faulkner and Hesse- and couldn't have been more than ten years older than I was. What I want to know is, why the hell couldn't this fad have taken sooner? C'mon, I wouldn't have told anybody!

I know there's a double standard for boys and girls when it comes to this sort of thing, but all I can say is I wish I had a teacher like that when I was 13...

Yeah, I think we quickly forget how dumb and fragile we are at 13. I would've undoubtedly enjoyed having such a teacher, but I also would have undoubtedly been emotionally scarred for life.
