Yet another music download service that works like iTunes, but this one is DRM-free. It's by the same guy behind the defunct MP3.com and features a lot of the same type of unsigned bands.

For over a year now I've been using eMusic.com.

It's a subscription service. $10 a month to download up to 40 songs a month (more songs available at a higher subscription rate).

Hey, I forgot about those guys! I used them for awhile back in 2000, but the mp3's were low quality then and they didn't have a great selection.

But I checked out the site again, and it looks 100% better. Maybe I'll give 'em another chance.

And no DRM - nice.
