New evidence in Rhode Island Great White disaster case

Club Owners Allege Prosecutors Withheld Evidence In Probe Of Fatal Concert Fire

The salesman, Barry Warner, wrote in the fax that Johnston, Rhode Island-based American Foam Corp. did not warn customers of the foam's potential safety hazards, including the material's flammability, according to the AP.

Attorneys for Jeffrey and Michael Derderian argued in court papers filed Monday that jurors should have been told about the fax. The prosecution claims that the author of the fax wasn't known until earlier this month. Once Warner's identity was revealed, the document was provided to the defense, the AP reports.

Great White never seemed to be assigned their fair amount of blame in this case. They were delusional and wanted to pretend they were still playing arenas.
Foam doesn't kill people. Fire does.

Pyro can be used very safely in small spaces. I have several friends in bands who used to be heavily into pyro. And they played venues much smaller than the one that Great White burned down. Check out the comments (to the original article) from my pal Dan "The Fox".

And I still miss flash pots!

Great White Manager Expected To Plead Guilty

Former Great White manager Daniel Biechele is expected to plead guilty to 100 counts of involuntary manslaughter on February 7 as part of a plea deal that'll see him serving no more than 10 years behind bars for his role in a deadly 2003 club fire.
