Postby Jake » Wed Dec 07, 2005 11:25 am

So hey, who's coming out to see the Quasars (with the awesome Detroit Muggs!) at the Viaduct on Friday? Should be a great time. The GLONO posse will be in full effect, boyeeee. So be there!

And hopefully, you're signed up to our newsletter, because we're giving away two pairs of tickets to the first people who reply.

If you're not signed up for our newsletter, you should be. We send it out every other Wednesday (usually) and we announce important stuff. And occasionally, give away crap.

Great show. The venue has a very strange, quiet vibe. The crowd was way too silent for rock and roll.

But the Muggs kicked all kinds of ass. Holy shit. Such awesome, balls-out Detroit rock and roll. Wow.

And while the Peelers took way too fucking long to soundcheck their drums (who and where did they think they were?), once they finally started they were great too. Loud, ugly MC5-ish rock and roll with a rockabilly guitar player.

And of course, the Quasars were awesome, as always.

Thanks to everybody who showed up. It was fun.
