OK, I'm game.

There is actually another thread that is only about CD storage.-

But creepy's idea is a little different, because it also asks about your system.

This is from my posting from the prior thread.

Chris G wrote:I use the Alpha+Release Date method as well, but I go in a different direction for my solution: Make the CDs take up less space. It centeres around a product called the "Disc Sox CD Pro" storage sleeve. Similar to the CaseLogic sleeves, but much better because DiscSox also hold the back tray-card. Their web page shows them standing up vertically, but I use mine horizontally so the front and back cover are in the same orientation:

I highly recommend them.

I already played this game a few months ago, on an audiophile board, so I'm just reposting these photos here.

I have a few other components in storage, but I keep it simple.

Living Room System:
Proton AA-1150 Power Amp
NAD 1000 Pre Amp
NAD T550 CD/DVD
B&W DM601 S3 Speakers

Might Sven have been linking on purpose, so as not to cause the page to get all fucked up from posting an image that is too wide?

Now that I think about it, not likely. That was just a happy accident that you had to make sure and... correct.

This thread doesn't seem to be putting asses in the seats. When creating a thread think "fun diversion" instead of "let's all examine our mundane lives by describing inanimate objects in our living rooms."

creepy made the suggestion, and I've participate in this topic on
other baords. It's actually a pretty popular thread on a lot of forums, but
this board is more about the music, and less about the stereo. Many other
boards I goto are the reverse.

To each his own, but why do you keep posting here?
I don't recall seeing anyone attack a thread's very existence before.
You have pretty strong feelings on the matter.
