Vue – Babies are for Petting (RCA)

Great Smiths-like chords with perfectly crunchy vocals. Sound familiar? Yeah, they sound a bit like the Strokes but that ain’t so bad in my book. This five-song EP is full up with great songs you should blast through your open windows this summer. It may not be groundbreaking but Vue could be the Charlatans to the Strokes’ Stones Roses and I can dig that.
