Cheap MP3s from Glorious Noise Records

It’s been a while since we’ve pimped our record label, Glorious Noise Records. The reason is obvious: we haven’t released anything new in almost a year. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing going on, of course.

Tomorrow will mark the third anniversary of the release of our first album, Taro Sound by Quasar Wut-Wut. And now, you can purchase MP3 versions of all three GLONO releases for just six bucks each (cheap!) via CD Baby.

So if you’ve been waiting for a good excuse to buy the music we started a record label to release, now’s as good a time as any!

Quasar Wut-Wut – Taro Sound (2004) Also available on Amazon MP3 for $6.99.

Riviera – At the End of the American Century (2005) Also available on Amazon MP3 for $6.99.

Riviera – Capital (2006) – Not available on Amazon MP3 yet.

Here’s what CD Baby has to say about it:

The MP3 audio files are very high quality, about 200kbps VBR, encoded using the “LAME” MP3 encoder on its audiophile settings. Your MP3s will play on any hardware.

All your MP3 albums are available for download in your CD Baby account, forever.

The artist sets the selling price, and 91% of the entire price goes directly to the musicians, paid every week. CD Baby only keeps a 9% cut to pay for bandwidth and administration.

There is no DRM or tracking on the MP3 files. We trust you to support independent musicians, and tell your friends to buy a copy, too.

Free MP3s:

Quasar Wut-Wut – “Enola Gay”

Quasar Wut-Wut – “Stiletto”

Quasar Wut-Wut – “Oh My Dear”

Riviera – “Blue Eyes”

Riviera – “Your American Past”

Riviera – “The Weathermen”

Enjoy!

  1. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw someone else posting Quasar Wut-Wut songs, but no, it’s the label. Ah well.

I’ll just add my two cents worth and say what an excellent band I think they are and how much I love Taro Sound.
