Expanded Odelay Coming Soon

Billboard says the 2-disc edition of Odelay will be out on January 29:

Disc one sports the original “Odelay” plus the previously unreleased outtakes “Gold Chains” and “Inferno,” produced by the Dust Brothers. Also featured is “Deadweight,” from the “A Life Less Ordinary” soundtrack.

The second disc rounds up 16 import-only B-sides and remixes, including “Burro” (“Jackass” sung in Spanish with a mariachi band), a cover of Skip James’ “Devil Got My Woman” recorded at Memphis’ Sun Studios and UNKLE’s remix of “Where It’s At.”

One correction: I had all the Odelay-era singles on 12″ and they were issued domestically. So “import-only B-sides” is not accurate. But who cares? It oughtta be nice to hear them again. Goodness gracious, has it really been eleven years? Wow. We’re getting old, yo.

Bottles and cans and just clap your hands and just clap your hands.
