The NME is reporting that the Police have indeed confirmed the long rumored tour dates. The band’s first tour in nearly 25 years kicks off in Vancouver on May 28.

After a string of dates in Canada, the band will head down to the USA for shows throughout June and July, including a slot at Bonnaroo on June 16.

The perfectly oiled promo machine chugs out another reunion tour. If the run-up to the announcement is any indication, this outta be one of the biggest and most finely organized tours in the history of reunion tours. Gary Puckett and the Union Gap are said to be in talks now too.
