Zeppelin Going Digital

Hot on the heels of the announcement that the band will reunite on November 26 in London comes news that Led Zeppelin will finally make their catalog available via digital distribution networks.

“We are pleased that the complete Led Zeppelin catalog will now be available digitally,” guitarist Jimmy Page said in a statement Monday. “The addition of the digital option will better enable fans to obtain our music in whichever manner that they prefer.”

That leaves the Beatles as one of the last major hold outs to go digital, but with each of the Fab’s solo catalogs finally up (George Harrison’s was last to launch earlier this year), chances are they won’t be far behind either. Bets around the GLONO HQ put the best odds at a Christmas 2007 announcement.
