Ny actor friend claims the whole thing is Andy Kaufman for the new milenium.Kaufman let Lawler smack him hard right across the face under the lights of a tv show. You could see the marks on Andy’s face. I couldn’t see anything here. When you watch those Kaufman tapes you really get uneasy at times. Even when watching Phoenix on Letterman, I didn’t get the butterflies I get when I watch Andy on tape. The 70’s had Carlin and Kaufman. In 2009 we get Dane Cook and Phoenix.
