Spike Lee Directs “This Is It” Video

Video: Michael Jackson – “This Is It”

Directed by Spike Lee from 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks. Stop hatin’. The Paul Anka song is still sappy but Spike’s video is kinda touching despite the occasionally corny effects and creepiness. Which, if you think about it, is appropriate.

  1. What’s creepy? It is a beautiful video about an artist very much loved in the whole world. And nothing human should be foreign to us. Creepy is the one who calls Michael creepy. Thank you Spike, you are so cool.

  2. Rosa, you don’t think the image of MJ’s baby photo floating in the sky is a little creepy? How about all the faux-3D/animation effects over the still photos (like the fireplace at 3:20). Or fans who dress up as Thriller zombies? Come on! All that stuff is straight-up creepy.
