Sales: Buble beats Death Cab + Flaming Lips

BillboardThere are clearly more Michael Buble lovers out there than Death Cab and Flaming Lips fans combined. At least according to this week’s Billboard 200. The “New Moon” soundtrack (whch features Death Cab, Thom Yorke, Bon Iver, et al) actually had an abbreviated sales week since it was rush-released after leaking. But still.

1. Michael Bublé – “Crazy Love” – 203,000 copies sold (up 55%)

2. “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” soundtrack – 115,000 (debut)

3. Jay-Z – “The Blueprint 3” – 55,000 (down 15%)

4. Barbra Streisand – “Love Is the Answer” – 49,000 (down 34%)

5. Miley Cyrus – “The Time of Our Lives” EP – 40,000 (down 15%)

6. Black Eyed Peas – “The E.N.D.” – 40,000 (up 56%)

7. Taylor Swift – “Fearless” – 33,000 (up 7%)

8. Flaming Lips – “Embryonic” – 32,000 (debut)

9. Mario – “D.N.A.” – 32,000 (debut)

10. Mariah Carey – “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” – 31,000 (down 43%)
