it’s getting slagged in a few reviews, but i like the new iggy album. it’s a bit of a departure for him, but it’s definitely a fine album to listen to on laid back summer nights. though while listening to it with some neighbors over for drinks and grilling, my friend had to question, “why is everyone putting out albums that sound like tom waits?” i guess there is that sort of vibe with it, though maybe a little leonard cohen as well.
