Sales: This decade has kinda sucked for chart-toppers

The ’00s are looking pretty crummy as far as mainstream music is concerned. With its fourth No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Rascal Flatts has the most chart-toppers of any group this decade. Yipes. Tied for second place with three #1s are Dave Matthews Band, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Staind, and System of a Down. Bunch of real winners there, yo. History will look fondly on this statistic… Oy.

  1. You need to count Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus together, which would add another artist with three number one albums.
