Despite the fact that these guys hail from Medway, home of Billy Childish, they sound a lot poppier than their noisy countryman. “After You’re Gone” starts with a couple snare cracks and “la la la” vocals straight out of the Who‘s A Quick One. Worth three minutes of your time, for sure.
Of course Billy Childish has been playing A Quick One By the Who for the past 10 years.
