Sales: Katy Perry Drops to #4 in Second Week

Bill boredKaty Perry is obviously a singles artist. Nobody wants her album. They’ll download the funk out of her hits, but people realize there’s no substance. Sucks for EMI, who reportedly shipped 1 million physical copies to stores. Kinda crazy that Katy Perry’s cume (over two weeks) is about the same as Arcade Fire‘s (over four). Billboard 200:

1. Disturbed – “Asylum” – 179,000 (debut)

2. “Now 35” – 105,000 (debut)

3. Eminem – “Recovery” – 93,000 (down 6%)

4. Katy Perry – “Teenage Dream” – 88,000 (down 54%)

5. Fantasia – “Back To Me” – 40,000 (down 66%)

6. Lyfe Jennings – “I Still Believe” – 36,000 (debut)

7. Goo Goo Dolls – “Something For the Rest Of Us” – 34,000 (debut)

8. Justin Bieber – “My World 2.0” – 31,000 (up 7%)

9. “Camp Rock 2: the Final Jam” soundtrack – 28,000 (up 58%)

10. Heart – “Red Velvet Car” – 27,000 (debut)
