Billboard: The White Stripes are close to inking a long-term, multi-million dollar deal with Warner Bros.

Not quite sure what a major label can offer an already established band like the White Stripes. But I’m guessing the “multi-million dollar” thing has something to do with it. Ah well…

Anyway, congrats to Jack and Meg. Milk those fuckers for all you can get.

And remember kids, if you feel guilty for downloading their next album, the Warner Brothers executives are doing just fine without your money…
