Let's see...

Gorillaz Plastic Beach is about the only new thing I've been spinning a lot. Also Jay Reatard's Watch Me Fall.

For some reason I've found myself listening to Sweet's back catalog. That is some glossy, sugary pop rock they got there.

I really like that new Rihanna song "Rude Boy" that's in heavy rotation on the radio right now. "Tell me rude rude boy IS ya big enough?" Until recently i figured Rihanna was like Beyonce. I was pleasantly surprised to find out she can't sing much at all. She just kind of does this rap/moan in an island accent. It's really sexy for the really wrong reason. When you hear her atrocious grammar and sexy moaning you imagine her as a mail order bride you can save from life in a hut somewhere in an impoverished island country. Was it her lack of education on the island or a blow to the head from a coconut that led her to butcher the language with the provocative question "IS YA BIG ENOUGH?" Frankly it doesn't matter to me. It is the hopes of hearing Rihanna that motivates me to drag my ass out toi the car on a dark rainy march morning.

I've been playing Titus Andronicus over and over but now it's fused with my brain and I should move on to something else.

Do I really need another Frank Black album, under any name?
