What with all the new folks at GloNo, I thought I'd revive this old thread. So how 'bout it, what's getting heavy rotation on your stereo/MP3 players?
Mine are:
Fountains of Wayne - Utopia Parkway
Riviera - Broken Hearted Dreams
White Stripes - Elephant
The Ramones - Rocket To Russia
Violent Femmes - The Blind Leading The Naked
Cat Power - You Are Free
Son Of Heavy Rotation

Aside from some new singles from the iTunes store (Overseer, Fischerspooner, Busta Rhymes), I've still been listening to some longstanding favorites: Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, Sharpen Your Teeth and By The Way... I guess the newest significant addition is the Minklungs' The Better Button.
I also spend an inordinate amount of time listening to my own band's material... Does that seem odd? Does Rivers Cuomo spend half his time listening to Weezer? I dunno...

I've become obsessed with a band called Minibar, four brits but based in LA.
Nothing earth-shatteringly innovative, but very well crafted guitar pop, similar to Gingersol, or a downbeat Gin Blossoms.
Also loving Kings of Leon, Kathleen Edwards (Failer), Lucinda Williams, and Physical Graffitti, which I just bought.
Looking forward to getting Marshall Crenshaw's new one when it comes out later this month.

I've been digging on:
Seven More Minutes, The Rentals
You Forgot it in People, Broken Social Scene (album of the year, if I haven't said it before, which I have)
Make Up the Breakdown, Hot Hot Heat
Natural Mystic, Bob Marley
One Word Extinguisher, Prefuse 73
Singles:
"Crazy in Love", Beyonce f/ Jay-Z
"Goodbye West Coast", Matt Sharp
"Superstar Part Zero", K-OS
"We've Had Enough", Alkaline Trio
