I only learned fairly recently that Woody Guthrie was a political guy. Maybe if he was alive today, he would have done some work with Rage Against the Machine, and I would pay good money to have that. He even might have prevented the creation of Audioslave, making the world all topsy-turvey.
Reading Steve Earle’s piece almost made me cry.
